Living policy
We and our residential landlords work according to a joint rental policy and this exists to promote a fair and well-functioning rental. In order to apply for an apartment, our basic requirements must be met and must be proven. The basic requirements for a rental are that the applicant must be (1) adult, i.e. over 18 years of age. Applicants must have (2) a fixed income. The income must be verified with a certificate. The assessment of the income is based on the Swedish Consumer Agency's guidelines which state that approx. 1/3 of the gross income should go to rent.
The following counts as fixed income:
Income through permanent employment or other form of regulated employment. Income through own business or retirement pension. Study funds from CSN are accepted in cases where a student residence is concerned. A credit report can be made on all applicants who submit an expression of interest. It must not show any payment notes or debts.
